① Appearance and production speed requirement
When the metal spun product is little, (such as diameter<300mm,aluminum thickness< 1.5mm, steel thickness<1mm, stainless steel<0.8mm) and soft materials can made by little CNC metal spinning machine, it have high spindle speed and feed speed, so it can spin metal spun products more quickly and smoothly.
② Tolerance requirement
When the metal spun products need to control the diameter tolerance, as we all know, the metal cold working and pressing have the spring back, it effects the final accuracy. The better way need to make it in the heavy duty and double roller machine, it can reduce the metal springback and can make the workpiece hold the mandrel tightly.

③ Thicker, bigger and harder metal blank
When the diameter > 600mm, the aluminum thickness>8mm, stainless steel >5mm, steel thickness >6mm, the metal hardness > stainless steel, you need to choose a heavy duty and the machine blank specification>1200mm, it can output more spinning force.
4. Blank estimation
The evaluation of the material sheet includes the diameter and thickness of the material,except necking can increase the thickness, sheet spinning and expanding reduce the blank thickness, you can calculate the diameter by thinning rate and different metal spinning shape.

5. Blank material cutting
You can using plating laser cutting to cut the round sheet that used in sheet spinning, using the tube laser cutting to cut the tube that used in the tube spinning.
6. Choose a right roller
Choosing a right machine can reduce the risk of break or crinkle in the spin forming, except the diameter and radius, the shape of roller is also important to avoid interference with the mandrel.

7. Making a CNC program
To learn to create numerical control programs, one must understand the coordinates of numerical control programming. Generally, machines have absolute coordinates and relative coordinates. The program of numerical control programming is executed according to the coordinate position of each point of the roller.
In addition, you need to understand the machine operation instructions. This CNC spinning machine manufacturer will provide you with an instruction manual, The main instructions include spindle rotation, feed speed, linear motion and circular arc motion

9. Mandrel installation and roller installation
Mandrel needs to keep the installation plate is clean. Otherwise the mandrel will runout when the plate have dusty or fillings, Mandrel needs to control runout is less than 0.04mm, the roller needs to control the runout is less than 0.02mm, when you finish roller assemble, you use hand to feel whether the roller move from axis direction, you must control roller just can spin smoothly without moving in axis direction.
10. Clamp adjustment
The clamp usually tends to runout after long-term use, you can check the the plane of clamp whether it is scratches or the hydraulic cylinder is bending, and the bearing is worn out. Clamp runout is less, the bottom of the metal spun product is better, the final accuracy is better.
Adjusting the right clamp hydraulic pressure, as long as the force of clamp can hold the blank on the mandrel, it can reduce the hydraulic pressure as possible, the hydraulic pressure is bigger, the bearings of spindle and clamp wear quickly.
11. Numerical control program simulation
It is mainly for checking the correctness of numerical control programs and wrong CNC program work to impact the machine. You can stop the spindle, using less feed speed and bigger gap to run the CNC program. During this process, to test the gap between the roller and mandrel, when you make sure the CNC program is right, you can adjust the right feed speed and gap back, then you can put the blank on the CNC metal spinning machine tool and run the CNC program to spin forming.
