1. Blanking
① Plate laser cutting : Plate Laser cutting is the most commonly used processing method for spun blank sheet, Many spun products are custom-made and the order quantity is not large. plate laser cutting does not require molds. The perforated points by laser need to be polished smoothly when blank is stainless steel, this point is easy to break in spinning.
② Stamping : When the order quantity is large, the cost of stamping is lower and the efficiency is higher, it is a more reasonable blanking method.
2. Blank sheet inspection
① Round sheet : Round sheet commonly have scratches on the surface and there are burr on the edge. Scratch can make work piece break when roller pull, the burr can make the roller scratch and the surface of metal spinning is not smoothly. So the inspection of blank is very important.
② Round tube : Round tube can be either welded or seamless, welded tube is easy to break when it is spun. It must be rolled by DDQ 304( it is used in deep drawing ). at the same time, the welding line must be smooth and it is welded by automatic welding machine.
3. Mandrel and roller standard
Mandrel installation accuracy need to control within 0.04mm.
Roller installation accuracy need to control within 0.02mm.
Mandrel hardness HRC must be harder than blank hardness.
Roller hardness HRC must be bigger than 58.

4. Metal spinning process
① Size inspection : During the spinning process, the dimensions of the spun products need to be inspected regularly. After long-term production, the molds and cutting wheels will expand due to temperature rise, which will cause changes in the dimensions of the spun products.
② Appearance inspection : The surface of the spinning roller andmandrel will wear out and get scratched after being used for a period of time, it can make workpiece have scratches. When the roller and mandrel have scratches on the surface, it need to polish smoothly again.
③ Tool grain : tool gain are prone to wear and breakage, it need to replaced regularly.
④ Drawing oil : it needs to apply the exterior surface of mold and roller.In addition to lubricating the roller, the drawing oil can also lower the temperature, enabling better removing of the work piece.

5. Remove burrs
The edge of metal spun products have burrs after being trimmed by a turning tool, it needs to remove the burrs by hand polishing.
6. Spinning line
All the metal spinning product have uniform spinning line, if it is used hotel and decoration, it needs to remove the exterior spinning line smoothly by polishing. If the metal spinning product are used as the internal part in the equipment, the spinning line can be retained.
7. Holes machining
① 5-axis laser cutting
The metal spun product that is made by Stainless steel, steel, thin aluminum and copper and brass ( thickness is less than 2mm), it can be make the holes by 5-axis laser cutting, There is no machining force when laser cutting working. It can prevent the vibration of products caused by the force on thin-walled parts in traditional processing, this is why metal spinning is rarely use CNC milling to make the holes. 5-axis laser does not require the processing of molds, so it has a significant advantage in large-scale spinning products with small quantities
② Stamping
Stamping hole processing is a very traditional process. The die cost for stamping is relatively high, but the processing efficiency is relatively fast. However, its advantages are not obvious in large-scale spinning quantity and other customized products.
③ CNC milling
The advantage of CNC milling machines is that it is very convenient to adjust the machine, However, its processing range is relatively limited, except the metal spinning product that the thickness is over 3mm, the CNC milling machine processing stainless steel spinning product is very prone to tool vibration. Copper, aluminum and brass reflection effect the laser cutting effect. So thick aluminum, brass can be made by CNC milling.
8. Surface treatment
① Aluminum : Aluminum can undergo treatments such as powder coating, oxidation, painting.
② Steel : it can be subjected to electrophoresis, powder coating, painting and electroplating
③ Stainless steel : mirror polish, brused, powder coating and painting are can be use in stainless steel.
